Call ‘em as they see ‘em, sez I.
Ya oughta send that one to Leno for his Monday nite news clips.
Here is an interesting question about this humorous mistake …
If you look at the article, it’s actually written by OM Sports Information. The athletic department’s PR group. But if you look at the version online now it says “pitch.” Knowing that the dm probably copy and pasted the press release sometime last night, leads me to believe this was actually a mistake by the PR people and not the students who run the dm. And if it was the dm, that would mean someone changed it from pitch to bitch … in which case they should be fired. This is of course not say the dm shouldn’t read through releases before publishing.
Either way a funny mistake.
It’s still the same on the website
Who’s website, The DM?

They may not even know about the mistake. But the pr people have it as pitch on their online, so they should have sent out a correction. Who knows …
It’s funny stuff.Thought at first it was towards a USM pitcher – making it priceless
You people have your mind in the gutter–the article was referring to the loose dog on the field…
Being hit by a bitch is an experience none of us can forget. And then there’s that “c-word” that was banned by Lotus over at folo, and presumably here, as well: that one will get you slapped every time…
I guess we should watch the Mississippian in the Fall for a c-word typo when the football team gets into fourth down situations, NZS.
Hit by a girl, then advances to third base and scores?
Reminds me of my second wife. She was freaky!
My question is this: does the team keep a running score on the locker room wall like they do getting hit by a PITCH? They give a black & blue award at the end of the season to the one with the most hits. What would this award be called????
