Of the many things that never occurred to me, …

… without any doubt, one of them was that these two particular people who (in some sense) I got to know in the last year or so might possibly think alike.

Just at the level of headlines, there’s this one and then there’s this one.

One never knows, do one.

Huh? What’s Lotus got to do with Palin? Don’t be so obtuse, NMC.

  • NMC

    Look at the headlines

  • Some would call it a pattern, but I’d just call it a coincidence.

Kipling: “Rosie O’Grady and the Colonel’s lady are sisters under the skin.”

  • Anderson

Whoa, NMC! What did Lotus ever do to you?

  • osa.canuc

Is Lotus as attractive as Sarah?

  • NotZachScruggs

Osa.canuc, she’s more attractive to me than Sarah.

…And a whole lot more articulate and knowledgeable, NZS. The only similarity, besides gender, of course, might be that financial woes caused their respective departures from their vocations. I think Palin resigned because she needs to make some big bucks while she can still generate enormous speaker fees. Our dear Lotus, however, was forced to get a different kind of gubmint work.

    I miss Lotus!

OK, Madame Lotus, we know you’re out there. Weigh in. I thought surely that Kipling quote would bring you roaring into our midst. We’re experiencing the return of Bellesouth, and, except on matters relating to Scruggs, I’m beginning to enjoy her prose. Trudge home, put your feet in a tub of Johnson’s Foot Soap, heave a big sigh, have a glass or two of some excellent libation, and return to us.

Of course I know what you mean, and you’re right … still, the literal fact of Palin’s making $$$ from fees paid to hear her speak … well, good lord, has anyone heard this woman talk?

It’s like me quitting my job to make millions, um, playing basketball. Basketball. That’s the orange one with the funny black lines, right?

Ironic, ain’t it? Was thinkin’ just that when I posted my comment, Anderson.

Perhaps we should form a team of people who are overqualified for public speaking.

  • Something just occurring to me. Blogs or blogging. You have Louisiana blogs (“how you’ll are”?) Then you have Ms. blogger ( ????????? gossip ????? it just ain’t right even when it’s wrong ???? ) was I in the loop? I was just thinking of how BLOGGERS FROM DIFFERENT places make use of blogs.

For that matter human behavior susceptible to traditional suggestion. ie. What people believe and the reason’s they believe it. cultural environmental programing.Ha ha your a product of your environment because of all things in life you have simply chosen to do so, to be who you are. And folks this is the best I can do in not relating to some pass event.

It’s OK I’m sure as I am a product not of my own belief’s or environment. god bless. Good night.

  • Ha ha! no way, cuz can’t touch this.

  • Oh where did I read this? In the last days they [ you know who there are? don't you?] won’t endure sound doctrine?. It’s a split level pad man.
