OK, folks, you have to listen to this video on headphones.
Beck got hired by the folks at Ford Lincoln to do a cover version of David Bowie’s “Sound Vision” from the album Low. And somehow, that got financing for over a hundred musicians– a gamelan orchestra, a soul band (the Dap Kings), a musical saw, strings, a marching band, choirs. He set them all up in a circle, with an audience between him and the musicians, and did the cover.
Amazing. Best record I’ve heard in a while.

What an amazing effort of production, planning, direction and performance. Fantastic.
Interesting. Not as good as Beyoncé at halftime.
Sweet . . .
Just listened to this over my crappy pc speakers. Very cool and the video is well-produced.
As to Beyoncé, I believe I am becoming a fuddy-duddy in my old age whereas I used to pride myself in my eclectic musical tastes. But, I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. +1
I wouldn’t buy one of her albums (do the kids still make “albums” these days?), but she certainly looked like she knew what she was doing out there.
