The Supreme Court, in an order signed by Justice Dickinson, has accepted Ed Peters’s irrevocable surrender of his law license and disbarred him. The order essentially recites the procedural facts– about the surrender and what that means– without the underlying facts that caused the disbarrment coming before the court.
The only other opinion was a denial of rehearing in the Jackson / Byram annexation case, which the court had decided 4/2/9 with an opinion by Justice Lamar. The court changed footnote 6 in the opinion, and otherwise let the opinion stand.
Jane noted the Peters disbarrment first, in comments.
Updated to ad the paragraph about the Jackson / Byram annexation case.

They’s some hardworkin’ justices, sure ‘nuf.
