Missing postsPosts between early March and late July of 2010 are for the moment missing-- when we moved from one host to another, the prior host arbitrarily witheld 5 months of posts and is demanding we both move back and pay them to get back our data. While I try to solve this, you can find these posts by searching Google and clicking the "cached" option.

I started (co)blogging as NMC in early 2008 on the Folo blog, (with coblogger Lotus); that blog went on hiatus in March, 2009.
In 2005, I covered Fifth Circuit cases for the (now defunct) Appellate Law and Practice blog.

Ed Peters is behind it all ….
What about a Steve Patterson write-in?
Theories:
1) This is someone’s idea of a joke.
2) There’s this thing of doing balanced choices, one nominee from the plaintiff’s bar, one from the defense bar. What sort of balance might this represent?
Any others come to mind?
Who you think Timmy Boy is for?
Tim has a way of parting not-on-the-friendliest terms when he moves on from one law firm to the next, if that’s any indication, CarlWayne.
I think it’s Kent Smith not Ken Smith.
I agree that it is Kent Smith – he’s with Smith-Whaley in Holly Springs.
