CLE in Jackson and Tupelo on loan foreclosures and workouts

Joyce Freeland (my wife, who also practices law with me), J. Douglas Minor, and Phillip Buffington are doing a seminar in Tupelo (on July 17th) and Jackson (on July 18th) titled “Boot Camp:  Foreclosure and Loan Workout Procedures.”  The seminar is sponsored by NBI.

Joyce will be presenting on attachments of rents, lender liability issues, and ethical considerations when dealing with distressed property.  I’ve looked at the materials she has prepared, and this one would be of interest to anyone with any interest in the topics.

Others will be presenting on the foreclosure process, forbearance agreements (including their structure and important provisions), loan modifications, short sale procedures, and deeds in lieu of foreclosure.

The “boot camp” part of the title will be represented by a demonstration of close order drill by the presenters during the lunch hour.
