Missing posts

Posts between early March and late July of 2010 are for the moment missing-- when we moved from one host to another, the prior host arbitrarily witheld 5 months of posts and is demanding we both move back and pay them to get back our data. While I try to solve this, you can find these posts by searching Google and clicking the "cached" option.
I am Tom Freeland, a lawyer in Oxford, Mississippi. The picture in the header is my law office. I'm on Twitter as NMissC
I started (co)blogging as NMC in early 2008 on the Folo blog, (with coblogger Lotus); that blog went on hiatus in March, 2009. In 2005, I covered Fifth Circuit cases for the (now defunct) Appellate Law and Practice blog.

Someone asked about MidTown Farmers Market

Someone asked about the Mid-Town Farmers Market today.

I got Brown’s Family Farm Milk, and it met expectations, which were quite high.  $4 a half gallon, with a $1 deposit on a glass jar.  I’m using a fat separator to make it skim, and may experiment with making creme fraiche out of the cream that I pull of it later on.  But on to what else was available…

I came home with some of the most beautiful Bost tomatoes, and will be making a past/toasted breadcrumb/tomato/garlic/herbs salad this week.  Already had BLT’s today.

Probably the biggest news:  Got some fresh okra from one grower (the Bosts had a crop failure due to rain!?!).  Also: cucmbers, peaches, blueberries, Parmesan bread, shitake mushrooms, eggs, corn on the cob, yellow tomatoes, multi-colored cherry tomatoes and I’m not sure what else.

The Bosts said that they were between fields on Cantaloupes, and there would be more Wednesday (phew!).
