Pableaux, What’s wrong with Oxford?

New Orleans food writer Pableaux Johnson (who I thought liked visiting us in Oxford, but we aren’t on the itinerary?) is taking New Orleans red beans and rice on the road, and blogging it as “The Red Beans Road Show: One Meal At Many, Many Tables.”  Here’s Pableaux’s account of his Atlanta kickoff.

  • Oh my brother… Check the wish list. It’s a free-form itinerary, and Fair Oxpatch is DEFINITELY in the sights. You think that I’d let all the Oxonian hospitality go unanswered? Au contraire, Counselor.

The only real danger is running out of andouille halfway through the journey. Gotta be reeeeal careful…
