Absolutely. NMC’s gonna kick us over to a food thread if we don’t hush up…when/if that happens I’ll share some of my favorite things to do w/ toasted pecans. BTW, current Southern Living has some good recipes.

DLM, let me know what you think. For awhile it was only available in mini-keg portions, which I toted religiously to Knoxville TN at Christmas for the enjoyment of my father and brother-in-law. I’m not a big fan of “flavored” anything, be it raspberry beer or hazlenut coffee, however, this is made w/ toasted pecans.

I’m glad Lazy Magnolia is around, but I feel kind of bad for them. (I don’t know the brewers personally, but I can only imagine that they are quite limited in their choices.) I think Oxford could easily support a microbrewery, but if I were going to start one (which I wouldn’t, but I know a handful of people who actually would), I wouldn’t do it in Mississippi. Not with the laws how they are now. NOT TO MENTION, most larger breweries start out with home brewing, which is apparently so evil that it must be outlawed.
