One interesting footnote to ex-congressman Jefferson and his corruption:  In the last election, his presence on the ballot produced a Republican congressman, Ahn Cao,  in an extremely safe Democratic district.  Yesterday, Ahn Cao was the lone Republican vote for the House health care bill.   Here’s Cao’s explanation of his vote– a major part of which was the passage of restricts on use of insurance funds on abortions.   Here’s a Talking Points memo story about Cao’s vote.
