Search NMCI am Tom Freeland,
a lawyer in Oxford, Mississippi. The picture in the header is my law office.
I'm on Twitter as NMissC
I started (co)blogging as NMC in early 2008 on the Folo blog, (with coblogger Lotus); that blog went on hiatus in March, 2009.
In 2005, I covered Fifth Circuit cases for the (now defunct) Appellate Law and Practice blog.

Nobody Here But Us ChickensThis is a temporary placeholder. Update: I couldn’t deal with this just sitting here looking so empty.

This blog is awfully blank…..
Oh yeah, toons and tunes — works for me! Good one, NMC!
I enjoy your blogs. Just seeing if I can leave a comment in case the world needs to know what I think.
NMC, huzzah!
Looks great! Anyone who appreciates the fine at of the Looney Tunes must be okay.
Yay! We’re all looking forward to this one Tom.
Hey, hey, that’s a DUCK and a RABBIT – no Foghorn Leghorn in that youtube! (sorry, smartass is my middle name). ;-)
How does I join up ?
You just did.
Nice new digs NMC! Congrats!!
Congratulations. Keep up your fine work.
Just have to know….was Ain’t Nobody Here But Us Chickens from an old animated movie; a cartoon; or did it pre-date both? We used to sing(yes, back on the farm and before TV we did that sort of thing)this song and hearing it again, although this version was much more modern than the one I remember, it still brought back memories. Anybody out there with the answer, where did the song originate? My current animals don’t seem to appreciate my crooning this revival from my past. But thanks, many thanks for digging this one up. And thanks too for the accompanying cartoon…I thwt I thaw a puthycat!
